Port Sunlight River Park

Visited the new 28 ha Port Sunlight River Park today which has been created from the old Bromborough landfill site. This environmental scheme’s main feature is a lake and a 37m high planted mound, which provides wonderful views across the River Mersey to Liverpool’s historic waterfront. A fantastic new addition to Merseyside’s public parks and well worth a visit.
