Trevor is the only man to re-create Sir Ernest Shackleton‘s epic 1916 rescue mission from Elephant Island to South Georgia and his staggering traverse of the mountains to get help from whalers at Stromness station.

Dear Brian, thank you once again from all the members of the BBC Preston Networking Group for an excellent presentation this morning. It was packed with superb images, great stories behind them and most of all, you were a humorous presenter that gave and took all the banter from an appreciative audience !
Brian is a hugely talented speaker with much to inspire others. His courses are often of interest for non-photographers who simply wish to be inspired by images of the world and tales about them. Touching on the associated themes within social history, literature, nature and life in general, one can come away from courses with Brian with a different way of looking at the world because one has been shown how things look through different metaphorical lenses – a valuable experience and immensely enriching!
