I’m in North Uist still going North. Here for the third time so I already have many photos. However the light is always different and inspired by your MCSS 2018 course I’m enjoying my camera again. Thanks Brian.
Thank you Brian for your very interesting Photography Composition course and for the information slides. I have now to work at improving my photo taking. I also enjoyed your North Pole lecture and the beautiful photos you picked to go with it in the impressive Marlborough College Memorial Hall.
Oh and thank you for the 133 photos you circulated – a great assortment fof our course images showing shape, line, form, patterns, colour, texture, and especially for taking time to improve some of them through cropping and tweaking and even adding an absent person to a photo!l
Thanks Brian. I enjoyed your MCSS 2018 course, ‘An Eye For A Picture’ a lot; it has made me look differently at things with my camera since. I am a slow learner so hope to catch up one day with all the tips and techniques you gave us.
I thoroughly enjoyed Brian’s ‘Exploring Photo Genres’ course at Marlborough College Summer School 2018. He inspired me to look and do things with my camera I would never otherwise have done. He has a wealth of practical experience.
I just wanted to email to thank you for a great talk yesterday afternoon. I found “Liverpool, City of Sculpture” really interesting and the pictures you have captured are amazing. The talk was incredibly well attended, and so many born ‘Scousers’ and ex students of the city.
I thoroughly enjoyed your North Pole illustrated talk, ‘On Top Of The World’ at Malborough College Summer School on Thursday. Wonderful images, lots of info and some great anecdotes. I’m sorry I will miss your Shackleton talk at the College in November.
I found your Photography course at Dillington quite inspirational and learnt a great deal! I now have much more understanding of the science involved and have consequently gained confidence in my photographic ability. I look forward to booking myself on another of your courses in the future.
Diana and I very much enjoyed your Light & Colour Workshop and found it very helpful. It all seems so simple in the classroom but once outside it wasn’t so easy to achieve. Need to persevere and keep in mind the rules before pressing the button.
Thanks so very much for a very interesting and intuitive Light and Colour workshop where, hopefully, I have learnt a great deal to help improve my photography in the future. I was very impressed with Dillington House and will keep my eye out for your future photo workshops.
Thank you very much for your Creative Composition photography workshop on Tuesday at Dillington which I thoroughly enjoyed. I learned a great deal and it was very inspiring. I enjoyed trying to put everything into practice in the afternoon in the grounds.
