Thank you so much for yesterday’s Colour & Light Workshop at Dillington. I enjoyed it immensely and found the whole day excellent and in some ways quite challenging. There were some thought-provoking discussions which just goes to show that sometimes there is no right and wrong answer – just different ways of looking at things.Today I’ve found myself thinking about whether black is a colour.

Brian, you were great. Your ‘ASPIRATION – Reach for the Stars’ presentations to the whole school were really interesting and inspiring. Thanks for running with the theme and motivating the children.

Brian, I just wanted to email to thank you for a great Sunday talk yesterday afternoon.  I found ‘Liverpool – City of Sculpture’ really interesting and the pictures you have captured are amazing.

Just to say thank you very much on behalf of all of our members for your ‘Recollections of a Scot in Antarctica’ presentation this morning. The photos were superb and alongside your entertaining commentary gave us a real insight into the world of Antarctica. I will certainly pass on the word about your talks and hope that you will be able to visit us again in the near future.

Thank you so much for your excellent illustrated talk on ‘Tierra del Fuego and the Falklands’ yesterday evening. That was by far the best attended and well received talk that we have had in a long time. As a result of the enthusiasm shown by the membership, I now have great pleasure in asking if you will visit us again in 2019.

Thank you for your interesting and informative talk on the Venice Carnival. I’ve had quite a few people come up and say how much they enjoyed it. As a photographer I was very envious of your images – nothing to do with the camera, but your ‘eye’ for a shot. We look forward to contacting you again for another talk.

Your talk ‘We Pollute and Plunder’ was very well received the other evening. It certainly got people talking about man made threats to the environment, which is very topical at the moment. Thanks again for yet another superb session.  I’m already looking forward to November’s talk!

Yet another excellent session last night, ‘Emperors and Kings’ your 5th or 6th with us at Wigan RSPB, thank you again. See you in 2019.

It was great to meet you and it was a privilege to have you give us your ‘Venice Carnival’ talk this afternoon. Your photos of the masks and costumes were quite stunning. There was such a happy ‘ buzz ‘ from the group and many appreciative and complimentary comments. I’m sure they are looking forward to your next talk in September.

Thank you very much indeed for coming to Luncheon Club as our Guest Speaker yesterday. I think that it was obvious that everyone thoroughly enjoyed your presentation, ‘IndiaLand of Wonders’ and I certainly did!

India is not a place that I have visited but, you made it look and sound fascinating and, you never know, I might make it one day!

Kath Postles, West Wirral Conservatives Luncheon Group

Brian, it was really great to see you again at your presentation of ‘India Land of Wonders’ to our luncheon group. The photos from your India trips were truly inspiring and your anecdotes and comments thought provoking. As you said, many of the people you featured with amazing smiles have so little and yet manage to be cheerful and polite. We could all learn lessons from them.
