It was a real pleasure to meet you and a great privilege to have you talk to our club this evening. Without exception the comments I heard from members afterwards were highly appreciative and complimentary.  Thank you so much for coming and sharing your ‘Cold Images’ stories and images with us.

Brian, your photography course at MCSS 2017 was so much fun! Learned a lot. Cannot wait to get home to practise – and to come back for more next year.

Thanks for a super week on your ‘An Eye For A Picture’ photography course.  I learnt a lot and can’t wait to get out and about at home with my camera to practise. This was my first time at Marlborough Summer School and I loved every minute of it so will certainly be aiming to return in 2018 and joining your Photo Genres course.

Since returning home I have been out experimenting with my camera – playing with angles, depth of field etc and had so much fun – and got a few shots I’m rather chuffed with. So, a big thank you for opening my eyes.

Brian, first I would like to say how much I enjoyed the three July 2017 Photography Workshops at Dillington, Your teaching style and enthusiasm for photography is wonderful. I am hoping to persuade my husband and children to book a place on your Feb 2018 Winter Photography course for my christmas present.  

Brian, I loved your ‘Eye For A Good Picture’ photography course at Marlborough College Summer School. You are so passionate about your work, inspirational, encouraging and an extremely conscientious tutor. I have taken hundreds of pictures this week thanks to you.

Brian, I really enjoyed your 2017 Photography Course at Marlborough College Summer School. I was inspired by your images and highly motivated to buy a good camera and pursue photography as a hobby. Your course sessions were funny, engaging and thought provoking.

Brian, I really enjoyed learning about photography on your Blueberry Learning course – the 10 sessions were engaging, fun and very informative. Your teaching about the fundamental elements of photography really helped me to understand the many functions and settings on my camera, allowing me to put them into practice.

I loved the group photo outings, and your support and advice helped me to develop my ‘eye’ for good photographic composition. You challenged me to try photographing different types of subject matter, initially this really proved to be difficult, however, trying and practising to take on these new genres really helped to build my self-confidence. 

Since completing your course, I am proud to say that my images have improved so much, that I often receive positive praise about the pictures that I take. Thanks.

Norma and I really enjoyed your ‘Liverpool – Pool of Life’ illustrated talk at the Wallasey U3A meeting last week. Loved your images and anecdotes celebrating our great region. Thanks once again.  

Dear Brian, just to say a huge thank you for your very enjoyable presentation on Yellowstone yesterday. It was really well received and there are many people who have been inspired to visit what looks to be a truly unique and fabulous place. Jim and I were eager to go there before we saw you yesterday, but after your talk we’re already looking at the brochures!
