Lynne and I were delighted with your Polar Notelets/Cards we bought to use at Xmas. The folk we send them to have kept the images. The one of sun rise on the Weddell Sea went to an artist friend trained at St. Martins in London, she just loves it. Basil, a photographer friend, really like the”” Polar Bear and cub. Very impressed at your shooting distance …. he thinks it’s a great shot.
I’m so sorry that I missed your ‘Feathers and Wings’ talk on 10 February 2017 at Wilmslow Guild. I got very good reports about your interesting talk with its superb images and demands that I invite you back again asap. So will you come back again in October? … And I’ll be there!

It was good to meet you yesterday; I very much enjoyed your River Mersey talk at the WOA’s AGM event. We are just constructing our events programme for 2017 and your ‘Seals, Whales, Candles & Soap’ talk with its strong connections with Levers, Port Sunlight and the Wirral, is of particular interest to us for consideration.

It was just what we wanted – full of humorous anecdotes, amazing facts about the river’s history and culture, plus of course, your stunning photography. It was greatly enjoyed by all our members. Really enjoyed Brian’s ‘Improving Your Photography’ course. He explains the theory so well but also makes it fun, and then gives us plenty time to put it to practice with photo outings. Hope he might do a photo editing course in the future, if so I will be on it, thanks.
A rarity in this day and age – Brian’s Photography course where you learn and have fun at the same time. He will make you a better photographer after this course, covering the relationship between Shutter speed, ISO, Aperture and Depth of Field, moving on to Composition, and even one on one guidance during the two field trips.
Brian is an extremely enthusiastic Dillington tutor and lecturer who is passionate about his subjects. His stunning images evoke a real sense of the places that he has visited, his lecture style is informal but informative and his photography courses are inspiring.
There was a real buzz in the room last night which isn’t always the case. Mind you, I’m not surprised, your Galapagos talk was fascinating and you delivered much more than I had expected, with the history of the islands from a number of different aspects, as well as your brilliant wildlife photos. Hearing and looking at your presentation was a real treat for us all.
