When The Phone Doesn’t Ring

I have always thought the telephone to be the worst Scottish invention. Unwanted calls, cold callers etc, have made telephones so intrusive in our daily lives, and things have only got worse with the ubiquitous mobile and smart phone. But my phone line went down for 2 days this week – no calls possible plus internet down, so no emails, website access, etc. It made me realise just how much my small business relies on these communication channels. Needless to say, I was relieved when BT corrected the fault. So maybe the telephone is not all bad after all!!
