St George’s Day – Is It?

Teaching a class at college today and I had to remind them all it was St George’s Day. The English just don’t seem to make a fuss of their national day as we Scots do. What a pity.

Anyway ‘Happy St George’s Day’ to all English folk out there. saying that, the original ‘St George’ was actually Turkish, so tell that to Nigel Farage.

Well to celebrate the day I publish one of my shots – the closest thing I have resembling a dragon. It is a marine iguana from Galápagos. Enjoy!!
