The Longest Father’s Day

Well its Father’s Day again in the UK, but this time it falls on the 21st of June – the Summer Solstice or longest day in daylight hours. So enjoy the longest Father’s Day for many, many years. The nights start to draw in from tomorrow!!

I always enjoy receiving humorous cards from my two boys, and the one I’ve opened so far has not disappointed. I just wish my dad was still with us to give him a card and for him to see his grandsons.

I have lots of photos of my boys growing up, but being a photographer, I do not like appearing in photos, so shots of myself and the boys together are few in number. This shot is of me and my two in Norway back in 2002. My ‘boys’ are 25 and 22 now, both young men with the world in front of them!!
