With my new hip now 5 weeks old, I have been gradually increasing the lengths of my walks on the new joint over the last week or so. So a nice excuse to wander along the River Mersey at New Brighton on the Wirral yesterday afternoon. A cold but beautiful, still and sunny day.
As you can see from these shots, the low sun dramatically lit the reds of the Liverpool 2 port cranes and the green of the Brazil buoy. Plus, some nice reflections on the deep blue water pools along the foreshore.
It just goes to show, if there is some decent light, there is always a shot or two. It’s also having a good look around you and just absorbing, enjoying the sights and seeing ‘the image’. That’s what I try and teach and demonstrated on my Photography Courses.
